Community-widecommunity Zoom gatherings addressed mental healthsupport and case managementchallenges related to the pandemic, racial42 $500-$700 gift cards to injustice, and wildfires, creating a safe space for expression and connecting. families for holiday gifts and school supplies Online Schooling SupportBridge Meadows provided gift cards to buy headphones and other materials to make home schooling easier for kids. For some, online schooling was an immense challenge; others noted that it reduced distractions and helped with focus. Specialized Resources for FamiliesSupports and resources offered in 2020 included emergency cash assistance, rent assistance, referrals to trainings aimed at parenting during the pandemic and parenting neurodivergent children, as well as resources such as the BLACK Cares Fund, unemployment, and cash assistance programs. Working with our partners at Mainspring, Bridge Meadows also provided a weekly food pantry throughout the pandemic.'
